News flash - environmental degradation has reached alarming levels. We know this. In fact, most of us have realized the entire world needs to go green, ASAP. Trouble is: how is that ever going to happen? With the cost of alternative energy systems beyond the reach of most people, switching the whole world to green energy could be nearly impossible.
And yet, the Earth's fossil fuel reservoirs will not last forever. At the rate we're going, we'll probably burn through them in the very near future. But, the CO2 produced and released into the atmosphere by the burning will stay around for decades, worsening the climate crisis.
It's clear: a shift needs to happen--at the personal level--each individual has to make the needed changes. There are key decisions to be made.
Green energy sources include alternatives like solar, wind and hydroelectric power, all of which greatly reduce our negative impact on the environment. They are relatively clean energy sources, (although there is still room for improvement in the manufacturing phases). Most of us can now start to harness these green energy sources. For those of us who are "do-it-yourselfers"--even for those of us who aren't, especially for those who aren't, there is now a new way of setting up your green home system yourself.
Earth4Energy has published an instructional guide that walks even the most inexperienced person through the process of construction and installation of solar panels and a windmill on his own property. These are step-by-step instructions that are downloadable online. The materials used are inexpensive and readily available at a hardware store; and you can build your own system for under $200. Overall, this is an extremely useful manual that will guide you step by step through the DIY process, and includes clear diagrams and explanations.
If you're like me, you're sick of monthly electricity payments. I feel shackled to a system that's dying and wants to take me with it. It's time to eradicate your energy bill. Let's leave the earth a little better than we found it.

Solar Power: Grow Your Own
The Sun, ultimate power source. It supports all Life on the planet. It has enough energy to power all of our homes--simultaneously.
By incorporating solar power into your electricity usage, you will watch the monthly expense of utility bills decrease significantly. What's keeping most of us from going solar? High priced equipment. Just the price of installation alone has prevented most. So we're stuck with the energy cartels and their monopoly scheme (scam).
To this day we've been weighed down by monthly energy bills, the insanity of which is something we simply accepted--until Now.
Now we know better. Each person can convert his home to renewable, sustainable energy sources. It's possible to do it yourself. By adding wind power to the harvest of solar energy, the total amount of green energy will increase by a great margin. Each person's carbon footprint and overall impact on the environment will lessen significantly. (The utility companies will be pissed!)
It seems the main thing these "energy companies" don't want us to know is that: energy is free! And the second thing is that, we can do it ourselves. Today, it is possible to install and set up solar and wind power devices yourself, with relatively inexpensive materials. This is a fact.
I think once people start doing this en masse, it'll mark the beginning of the end for the utility corporations, (which is why these corporations are so fearful of this shift). More and more people are harvesting green energy--this is also a fact.
And now that methods exist to install the devices myself, in my own home, for my family, I can plot my escape from the corporate yoke.
